A founding partner of Kuhn & Heap, Mr. Kuhn earned his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Bradley University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1975. He earned his law degree, with honors, from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law, in 1978. Mr. Kuhn is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Kuhn is Co-Editor of the Real Estate Council of the Illinois State Bar Association and has many articles published in various legal journals. Mr. Kuhn also is a member of the Real Estate, Corporate Law, and Probate Committee of the DuPage Bar Association, and he often represents the association as a speaker before business and civic organizations. Mr. Kuhn has served and continues to serve on many charitable and community related boards. A life-long resident of Naperville, Mr. Kuhn is a past president of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and an adjunct professor of business law at North Central College, in Naperville. Mr. Kuhn and his wife Mary have four children. Mr. Kuhn's practice is concentrated in real estate, estate planning, corporate law, and business litigation.
