Mr. Monson brings an extensive background to Kuhn, Heap & Monson.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University in 1978, Mr. Monson was a Graduate Associate in the Applied Mathematics Division of Argonne National Laboratory. He returned to Northern Illinois University in 1979 to begin graduate study and earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration in 1980.
During his graduate study, Mr. Monson served as the graduate assistant to the Dean of the College and taught classes in marketing.
Upon earning his MBA, Mr. Monson joined the NCR Corporation where he worked in sales of mainframe computers to the banking industry.
While employed at NCR, Mr. Monson earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law, where he graduated in 1986.
Mr. Monson served as CFO and General Counsel of GCL for eight years before joining Kuhn & Heap.
A life-long resident of the area, Mr. Monson currently lives in Batavia with his wife and two children.
